Montana State Representatives Derek Skees and Krayton Kerns pose for portraits in and around the Montana Capitol Building. Both legislators have made waves in recent months for introducing legislation to nullify federal laws. Kerns, a third-term Republican, recently proposed to nullify the federal Endangered Species Act to in order to allow Montana to manage populations of controversial, endangered wolf packs. Skees, a GOP Tea Party candidate, introduced legislation to institute a panel to examine the nullification of federal laws.
